A biomass plant needed a reliable way to catch waste falling from a conveyor. The issue needed to be resolved quickly. Space beneath the conveyor was limited, so the solution had to work within a restricted area while supporting safe, practical, long-term operation.
Alti Access reviewed the site conditions and developed a more suitable approach. Instead of a higher-cost option with a longer installation period and regular maintenance demands, we proposed a flame-retardant shrink-wrap system installed along the full length of the conveyor.
The result was a practical, long-term solution that reduced maintenance requirements and helped the conveyor run trouble-free.
The client required an urgent solution to manage waste falling from a conveyor.
Several factors shaped the brief:
This called for more than a standard response. The plant needed a solution that fit the space, supported day-to-day operations and delivered better long-term value.
Alti Access developed a plan to install flame-retardant shrink wrap across the full length of the conveyor.
This approach gave the client a stronger fit for the environment and the requirement. It also offered clear operational advantages over other options the client had explored, including:
Our team focused on delivering a solution that worked in real site conditions, not just on paper.
The project met its objective in full.
The client now has a long-term system in place that supports cleaner, more reliable conveyor operation. The conveyor is now running trouble-free, and the client confirmed that they were fully satisfied with the outcome.
The client’s feedback on the project was:
“Very professional from the start. From the first site meeting with Mick everything went to plan. Very impressed with all Alti workforce who worked on this project.”
“Very professional, nothing is to much trouble for scaffolders on site. great standard of work, zero safety concerns”
“Easy thing for me to comment on is we had absolutely zero issues.”
Industrial sites need access partners who can respond quickly, work within site constraints and deliver solutions that hold up under operational pressure.
This project shows how Alti Access approaches that responsibility:
